Privacy Policy

Which personal information Lockwello collects, why we need it, who helps us process it, and the choices you have.

Last updated 29 October 2026
In short

We collect only what we need to deliver orders, take payment, answer messages and protect the site. We never sell personal data, and we never ask for your Facebook password.

Information we collect

  • Order details: your name and email, the link to your Facebook Page or website, notes and files you choose to add, and optionally a WhatsApp number or Telegram username.
  • Account IDs: Business Manager, ad account or Page IDs you decide to share. These are reference numbers, not login details.
  • Payment information: your chosen payment method, the transaction ID and any proof you upload. Card details are entered with our card payment processor and never reach us.
  • Messages: anything you send through our contact form or by email, and our replies.
  • Reviews: the name, optional business name, avatar choice, rating and text you submit, and the order number and email used to check it. We never publish your email.
  • Technical information: data your browser sends, such as IP address and pages visited, which we use to keep the site secure and working.

What we see inside your accounts

While we have partner access or you share your screen, we can see the parts of your Business Manager, Pages or ad accounts that the access allows. We use that view only for the work you ordered. We do not export audiences, customer lists or reports for any other purpose, and our access ends at handover.

Why we use it

  • To carry out and support your order (performing our contract with you).
  • To check payments and keep accounting records (legal obligation).
  • To send order emails, including payment reminders, which you can stop for any order using the link in the reminder (contract and legitimate interest).
  • To reply to your messages (legitimate interest).
  • To protect the site against spam, fraud and attacks (legitimate interest).
  • To publish a review you submit (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).

We do not make automated decisions about you that have legal effects, and we do not use your data for advertising.

Who helps us process it

We share personal data only with providers that help us run Lockwello, and only what each needs:

  • our website hosting provider, which stores the site and its database;
  • our email delivery provider, which sends order and support emails;
  • our network and security provider, which protects the site from attacks;
  • payment providers, such as our card payment processor, banks, money transfer services and cryptocurrency networks, when you pay.

We may disclose data where the law requires it or to defend our legal rights. We never sell personal data.

Transfers between countries

Some providers process data outside your country. Where data leaves the UK or the European Economic Area, we use providers that rely on recognised safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Order and payment records: up to 6 years, for accounting and tax.
  • Files attached to an order: removed from our server once they have been delivered to us by email.
  • Messages not linked to an order: up to 24 months.
  • Published reviews: until you ask us to remove them.
  • Security logs: up to 90 days.

Cookies

The site uses only what it needs to work and stay secure, plus a small preference that hides the first-order offer from returning customers. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics later, we will ask for consent where the law requires it and update this page.

Keeping data safe

Connections to our site are encrypted, and only people who need order information for their work can see it. Because no system is perfectly secure, we also collect as little as possible.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR and California privacy law, you may be able to access, correct or delete your data, limit or object to how we use it, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent. Email [email protected] from the address linked to your order to use these rights. We reply within 30 days. You may also contact your local data protection authority.

Children

Our services are for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, we update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we also mention it in emails about orders that are still open.
